Stockerboard terms of service

Rules, acceptable use standards, and liability limitations governing your access to Stockerboard's software and computational research tools.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Stockerboard (stockerboard.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, your sole remedy is to discontinue using the platform.

2. Nature of the Service

Stockerboard is an educational and quantitative computational analytics tool. It aggregates and processes publicly disclosed financial filings and exchange records to provide structured research tools. Stockerboard does not provide investment, tax, legal, or financial advisory services.

3. User Account & Local Storage Responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their devices and any credentials used to sign in via Google.
  • Guest users acknowledge that local browser storage (localStorage) is device-dependent and will be lost if browser cache or application data is cleared.
  • Users agree not to misuse authentication features or attempt unauthorized access to other users' synced records.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Deploy automated scrapers, bots, or rate-excessive crawl routines that impair platform performance for other users.
  • Circumvent security controls, content delivery mechanisms, or data boundaries.
  • Redistribute, resell, or commercialize Stockerboard's compiled datasets without written consent.
  • Misrepresent Stockerboard as a licensed SEBI Research Analyst, Investment Adviser, or portfolio manager.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All proprietary software code, visual designs, trademarks, logos, domain assets, and curated calculation methodologies are the intellectual property of Stockerboard.

Public market data and company filings remain the property of their respective exchange authorities (NSE/BSE) and filing corporations.

6. Service Availability & Disclaimer of Warranties

Stockerboard is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied.

While we strive for high uptime and accurate computational processing, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that historical data will always reflect immediate corporate restatements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Stockerboard, its creators, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Decisions made or actions taken in reliance on information presented on the platform.
  • Loss of data, interrupted access, or system errors.
  • Market losses incurred by the user in securities trading or investing.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use periodically to reflect changes in our platform or applicable legal standards. Continued use of Stockerboard following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
